Naturally Splendid Enterprises announced that they have achieved full Non GMO Certification from Food Chain Advisor's Non GMO Project for all of the products in the NATERA ™ hemp based superfood Line.
Food consumers are becoming more selective and careful with respect to the origin and production practices of their food suppliers.
The scientific practice of "genetically modifying organisms" (GMO) has come under great scrutiny and many consumers are demanding the opportunity for informed choice and assurance that the products they buy do not contain GMOs.
"Non-GMO Project Verified" is the fastest growing label in the natural products industry, representing more than 15,000 verified products and $5 billion in annual sales. The Non-GMO Project, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, offers North America's only third party verification and labeling for Non-GMO food and products.
As consumer demand for Non-GMO options increases rapidly, so does the demand for third party Non-GMO verification. While many products may claim "Non GMO" on their labels, only those products which have been tested and approved by the Non GMO Project are allowed to post the recognizable Non GMO Project verification seal.
The Non GMO Project seal indicates that the product bearing the seal has gone through a rigorous verification process.
