Domestic egg prices record fluctuations. China-data monitoring shows that, the average price of egg around China is RMB 5.06 per 500g on May 16, slightly up RMB 0.04 compared the last month.
Prices in Henan soar, with average price reach RMB 4.97, up by RMB 0.01 compared with the last month. The average price in main selling regions is RMB 5.27, up RMB 0.01 compared with last month; that in main production areas is RMB 5.02, up RMB 0.05 compared with last month. With regard to supply, according to China-data’s monitoring on traders, currently purchasing is still tightened, while selling is relatively slow in perspective of demand, with purchasing even halted in some areas due to high prices. Egg prices are predicted to be adjusted while remaining stable in a short term.
