This sumalcoholic popcornmer Joe & Seph’s are launching the UK’s first range of alcoholic popcorn.

Following the successful release of a Limited Edition Gin & Tonic flavour in 2013, Joe & Seph’s has now created three new alcoholic varieties, all made with 5% real spirits.

Available from May, this new adult range comprises a four-piece collection of classic cocktails – Gin & Tonic, Mojito, Margarita and Cosmopolitan.

Like all of Joe & Seph’s 42 varieties, the cocktail collection is handcrafted by chefs using all natural ingredients and made from extra-large corn.

Launching in time for summer, Joe & Seph’s alcoholic range is designed to appeal the taste buds of cocktail lovers and culinary adventurers, with the popcorn’s caramel coating infused with the artisan spirits.

The Latin flavours of the Mojito and Margarita varieties make them appeal as screen-side snacks during the World Cup, whilst the Gin & Tonic and Cosmopolitan editions are designed for serving at summer parties.

Joseph Sopher, Founder of Joe & Seph’s, said:

“We are constantly innovating at Joe & Seph’s, and created this range of alcoholic popcorn to bring something completely new to the UK this summer.

“Each variety is made with 5% real spirits and our unique taste-sequencing technique ensures that every piece of corn contains the distinct balance of flavours found in these alcoholic beverages.

“British consumers will find our gourmet alcoholic popcorn tastes as if they were a cocktail made by a master mixologist.”

The new range will be available in 80-90g sharing pouches (RRP £2.99) and bulk catering packs.

Joe & Seph’s popcorn is stocked at Selfridges, Harrods, Whole Foods, Harvey Nichols, Waitrose, Ocado, Debenhams, and good independent stores.
