Food Week Korea - the largest and most well-known food show in the country - promises a schedule packed full of more not-to-be-missed contents with its new slogan, “Food for the Future,” at Coex, Seoul, from November 12th to 15th 2014.
Food Week Korea 2014 launched six new special sections within its new slogan including ASEAN Local Food, Health & Healing, Solar Salt & Low Sodium, Desserts & Delicate, Trendy Traditional Korean Food, and Single & Simple Food. In the ASEAN Local Food section, visitors may find ASEAN countries’ exotic cuisines and ingredients, while soothing their stress in the Health & Healing section by reaching organic and nutritious food. At the same time, visitors with high interest in health may also visit Solar Salt & Low Sodium section to meet new products with this natural non-artificial salt with high mineral, but less sodium. Meanwhile, Desserts & Delicate section will provide great pleasure with sweet desserts, and Trendy Traditional Korean Food section will include traditional Korean foods with a glimpse of contemporary trend. Last but not least, Single & Simple Food section will be for those who are too busy to be in the kitchen or don’t want to buy huge amount of food at a time, providing variety of ready-to-eat products.
Food Week Korea 2014 will also see Korea’s top bakery exhibition, the Seoul International Bakery Fair (SIBA) co-located alongside Food Week Korea, since 2013. Guests will now be able to explore every aspect of the food and beverage industry, from raw ingredients, to machinery, furniture, packaging, drinks, and desserts, all under one roof.
Moreover, overseas buyers at Food Week Korea 2014 may participate in a one-on-one business-matching program featuring exclusive meetings between buyers and manufacturers in attendance. In its last edition, Food Week Korea saw 602 companies showcasing goods from 29 countries around the world to an estimated 75,000 buyers and visitors. This year, more than 1,000 domestic and overseas food and beverage related businesses will exhibit across 1,800 booths.
