An area of retail which has seen significant growth across Europe, the first store of this kind was opened in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
As Freshplaza reports: "EcoDino will allow consumers at the very heart of Santa Cruz de Tenerife to have access to a wide selection of natural and wholesome quality products at competitive prices, since over 95% of the products have organic certifications. Furthermore, 75% of the range is purchased from local suppliers and it has the best selection of fresh produce and meat products, as well as a team of specialised professionals able to answer any customer queries."
HiperDino's move reflects a growing trend in retail, with numerous stores across the continent now focusing specifically on the organic or free-from segments where there is a growing audience willing to spend slightly more on certified products.
