Château Tour de Sarrail 2009 has launched in the UK exclusively by The Vinorium, an independent wine merchant.
Tour de Sarrail, a Bordeaux made of 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet is a medium-bodied elegant wine with a defined nose of blackberry, minerals and oak.
The wine has a unique labelling concept, in a tradition that dates back to Baron Phillipe de Rothschild in 1924 when he commissioned poster artist Jean Carlu to create a label for the château and revolutionised the way in which wines were sold. The payment for creating the label was not money, but in cases of wine.
The Vinorium has continued this tradition with its new wine, “Tour De Sarrail” and the renowned Kent artist, Graham Clarke.
Stuart McCloskey, founder and director of The Vinorium said:
“Here at The Vinorium we stock some of the world’s most rare wines from around the world, we thought it was time to use our knowledge and passion and create our own exclusive wine.
“The Chateau Tour de Sarrail 2009 can be drunk within 4-6 hours of decanting but there is a lot of substance to this wine and it will require 5-6 years to really come into its own.”
Château Tour de Sarrail 2009 (750ml, 13.5% vol.) is exclusively available at The Vinorium
Available by the bottle at £14.50 or 12 bottles in an original Bordeaux case at £150.00.
