CVS/pharmacy, a retail division of CVS Caremark, has introduced new line of snacks called Gold Emblem Abound.
The new line includes around 40 wholesome items such as snack bars, trail mixes, dried fruit, popcorn and rice chips.
According to CVS/pharmacy, the line also comprises champion ingredients such as superfood chia and superfood baobab, which enables consumers to purchase snacks with additional health benefits at an affordable price.
Gold Emblem Abound line is free from artificial flavors, preservatives, trans fats, gluten, sodium, cholesterol and contain sources of protein, fiber, omega-3s, probiotic cultures and potassium, noted CVS/pharmacy.
CVS/pharmacy store brands and quality assurance merchandising vice president George Coleman said the pharmacy has developed the line to taste great and help people on their path to better health.
"We are excited and very proud to introduce the Gold Emblem Abound brand of healthier snacks and grocery items to our customers," Coleman added.
