The ongoing disagreement between Groupe Casino and Coca-Cola has finally been resolved.
Products of the company including Sprite, Fanta and Capri-Sun will, little by little, reappear in the Casino's supermarkets, and the chain's other stores, which include Marché Franprix and Géant outlets.
The price-conflict dates back to the end of April. The head of food at a Casino convenience store spoke of the difficulties ensued by the détente:
"Believe me – two months without being able to sell two-litre bottles of Coca-Cola is a long, difficult time."
It proved to be less problematic to sell replacement drinks for Coca-Cola's other products, according to managers of Casino's outlets.
