Solemn Oath Brewing announced plans to expand its Naperville, Ill.-based brewery to support its growing craft beer portfolio.
Following up on its May purchase of 7,000 square feet, Solemn Oath will divide the space to develop a packaging room with brite tanks and filling equipment as well as house a nearly 19,000-cubic-foot cooler. The company notes that any space not used for these purposes will be reserved for future projects. The expansion will bring the brewery’s square footage to 16,800.
Solemn Oath also is working with Metalcraft Fabrication, Portland, Ore., to support its new brewhouse. The company is adding four 60-barrel fermenters and 60-barrel brite tanks to support its current and expected demand, it says.
By the end of the year, the brewery also will add aluminum can packaging to its portfolio. Its beers will be available in six-packs of 12-ounce cans.
