TTK Healthcare has outlined plans to begin production at its upcoming food unit in Jaipur, India, by the end of the current fiscal.
This is part of company's plan to strengthen its food division business. Earlier, the company announced its plans to set up ready-to-fry snack pellet facility, reports Business Standard.
The Jaipur facility would open in a leased land where production would be trialled during the last quarter of the current financial year.
"Though there was some initial delay, work is now in full swing and the project would be completed by the end of Q3 and the production would commence during the following quarter of the current year.
The new plant will have the capability to produce differentiated and value-added products," according to the company's annual report.
The company has also planned to set up a sales and distribution network to handle the enhanced production output.
