Viterra Continues Optimizing Operational Footprint With New Elevator Build in Manitoba

Viterra Inc., Canada's grain industry leader, is pleased to announce its intent to build a new high throughput grain terminal at Ste. Agathe, Manitoba.

The facility will be situated near the company's canola crush plant, and have a storage capacity of approximately 30,000 metric tonnes, including the ability to load up to 124 railcars with access to both CN and BNSF rail service.

Kyle Jeworski, Viterra's President and CEO for North America said, "This significant investment we are making in southern Manitoba is another excellent example of our commitment to continuously evaluate and optimize our asset network for the benefit of our customers. We have a long history of operating in this area and partnering with local farmers, and this new facility will support our continued success and ensure that we are well positioned to provide the superior service for which we are known."
