The Russian veterinary authority Rosselkhoznador is to send a team of inspectors to Mongolia to in assess meat plants for export to the Russian federation.
The inspectors will be inspecting 11 beef plants between 30 August and 13 September.
The inspectors will look at the production and control methods in the plants as well as the companies down the supply chain supplying the raw material.
