Core Tip: The Popcorn Factory, a US-based establishment, is voluntarily recalling Lite Works Dill Pickle Popcorn as it may contain milk, which is not mentioned on the packaging, the US Food and Drug Administration said.
The recall includes 600 4oz bags of Lite Works Dill Pickle Popcorn bearing lot code 15111 with best by date 17 September 2015.

Packaged in foil bag, the product was distributed to Burlington Coat Factory retail stores across the nation.

The recall was initiated after it was found that wrong food product ingredients were packaged in the foil bags.Investigation revealed that the problem was supposedly caused by an error in the company's production and packaging processes.

Consumption of the recalled product may cause serious or life-threatening allergic reaction in people allergic to milk.

No illnesses have been reported associated with the recall. Consumers who have purchased the product are advised to discard it.
