Republic of Tea released three new herbal iced teas: Sonoma Chardonnay, Sonoma Rosé and Sonoma Cabernet, all of which are made from fine wine grape skins from the Sonoma County wine region in Northern California. A Mulled Zin hot tea, infused with the warm spices of cinnamon, ginger, cloves and orange zest, will be available beginning Sept. 1. Free of caffeine, alcohol and calories, Sonoma’s teas also contain antioxidants. The Sonoma Teas collection is packaged in steel tins that seal in the freshness for up to two years, the company says. The teas are available online for a suggested retail price of $7.99, which makes six quarts or 24 single-servings.
