India-based Dabur will expand its product range with the introduction of new ready-to-drink beverages under its digestive brand Hajmola.
The plans to launch new drink come in response to increasing demand for functional drinks as consumers are moving away from sugary and carbonated drinks, reports The Times of India.
Dabur India Consumer Care Business executive director Krishan Kumar Chutani said: "The first part of this initiative saw the launch of brand Hajmola in a liquid candy format last year and the introduction of Chocolate Chyawanprash, to name a few.
"We are now getting into the second and more aggressive part of the initiative."
The new Hajmola Yoodley will be available in six different flavors including Awaara Aam Panna, Nimboora Shikanji, Go Goa Guava, Jhakaas Jaljeera, Golmaal Golgappa and Kabhi Kala Kabhi Khatta.
All the six flavors packed in 250ml packs will be launched across the country.
Dabur India Foods marketing head Sanjay Singal said: "Hajmola has a strong equity of chatpata taste. We are leveraging that same equity here for chatpata Indian ethnic drinks."
