Meal replacement drink maker Soylent has introduced new soy-based vegan beverage called Soylent 2.0.
The new beverage includes soy protein and fatty acids in the form of algal oil, slowly-digested sugar isomaltulose and a range of micronutrients.
With a low glycemic index of 49.2, the new beverage is said to provide 47% calories from the algal oil, 33% from sugars and 20% from the soy protein. Soylent says the algal oil comes from farm-free algae sources.
The new soy-based vegan beverage is available in 12-pack size at the price of $29.
The drink maker is already providing the product in the form of a powder with the name Soylent 1.5.
