Blackheath Beverage Group has expanded its services to include the development of wine and spirit brands for entrepreneurs who aspire to enter the beverage alcohol industry.
This initiative will be spearheaded by Blackheath's CEO, Jay Harkins, and will consist of an in-house development team that will utilize insights from Blackheath's existing national sales infrastructure. The new division will manage all aspects of brand development including: conceptual ideation, creative and packaging design, flavor development and product procurement, financial projections and business plans, acquisition and exit strategies, and sales and marketing tactics.
"It's an exciting time for us at Blackheath as we are the first and only independently owned outsourced sales infrastructure with a national footprint." Harkins goes on to explain, "We are taking another innovative step in the industry by becoming the first comprehensive brand-development agency that has a proprietary sales infrastructure at its disposal. Our independent ownership structure is the fundamental point-of-differentiation that sets us apart from any other agency in the industry."
Tom Michaelsen, Director of Marketing for Blackheath, emphasizes, "While our Brand Development division will function independently of our sales organization, our access and knowledge of the beverage alcohol industry across key US markets provides us with an unparalleled advantage over any other agency. This real-world experience, coupled with an energetic creative team, leaves us strongly positioned to offer a better suite of services to this industry."
