Core Tip: Australian farmers and manufacturers and the retailers that stock their products, are making it easier to buy Aussie this Christmas, by celebrating the festive season in green and gold.
Australian farmers and manufacturers and the retailers that stock their products, are making it easier to buy Aussie this Christmas, by celebrating the festive season in green and gold. Shoppers seeking out genuine Aussie products and produce can simply look for the green-and-gold Australian Made, Australian Grown kangaroo logo on products and point-of-sale displays in-store and online.

The green-and-gold kangaroo logo is Australia’s registered country-of-origin certification trade mark for authentic Australian goods and can only be used on products which have been certified as genuinely Australian by the not-for-profit Australian Made Campaign Ltd.

“All products that carry the green-and-gold Australian Made, Australian Grown kangaroo logo have been put to the test by our compliance team, so shoppers looking to buy genuine Aussie products can be sure what they are buying has in fact been made or grown right here,” Australian Made Campaign Chief Executive, Ian Harrison said.

“Research shows that consumers want to buy Australian, but can find it difficult to identify locally made and grown goods. The kangaroo logo will be featured prominently on more products and produce than ever before this Christmas, making it easier for shoppers to find what they are looking for.”

A comprehensive list of certified Australian Made, Australian Grown and Australian Seafood products can be found at www.australianmade.com.au/products. Nearly 2,500 businesses are registered to use the logo on more than 15,000 items sold in Australia and around the world.
