According to provisional data of the German Statistical Office (INS), Greek exports to Romania in the period between January and July 2015 amounted to 425.05 million Euro, representing a significant increase (+18.54%) compared with the same period of 2014. Meanwhile, Greek imports from Romania amounted to 438.34 million Euro, which is a slight increase (+1.78%).
In this context, the value of Greek agricultural exports to Romania amounted to 54.2 million Euro (12.8% of the total Greek exports). Significant growth was recorded in the shipment of processed vegetables (+30.46%) and rice (+46.03%).
In global terms, the volume of bilateral trade between Greece and Romania during the period at hand amounted to 863.39 million Euro, a remarkable 9.39% increased compared to 2014.
