Boosting the industry's growth, Fi Europe & Ni (Food ingredients Europe & Natural ingredients) trade shows have been attracting “Over 500,000 people over the years, and billions of Euros of business have been created as a result.” Fi Europe is held every two years in major European cities. This year, it is being held at Paris Nord Villepinte, France, from December 1-3, 2015.

This pavilion is designed for food processing & packaging industries which will showcase exhibitors with solutions in processing, packaging, equipments and associated service. The segment which has translated into significantly expanding the profile and represented offering at the event giving attendees the ability to source solutions for their complete range of needs.

Prospects in Processing on the Rise
The global market for machinery and equipment used in food processing is expected to be worth more than $45 billion by 2015, according to Global Industry Analysts. Legislative measures to enforce standards of health and hygiene are fuelling the market, along with better-informed consumers, and new food processing practices and products. The global economic recession had less effect on the food processing industry than other industries due to rising demand for pre-packaged food. Forecasted growth for the 2014-2020 period is in the single digits for the global food processing equipment market.

Women’s Networking Breakfast
Fi Europe this year is launching a new initiative, the Women's Networking Breakfast, aimed at breaking this glass ceiling and empowering women to strive for more. Women are greatly under-represented in business, holding just 24% of senior leadership positions globally.

The panel of inspirational women, who are leading the way in the food and beverage industry, will share their expertise and experience while offering advice and guidance on how women can assert themselves positively, develop their careers and influence decisions in this male-dominated industry.
