Based on data from the first half of 2015, the value of Israeli food product exports to the North American market will reach a record sum of 340 million dollars by the end of the year.
According to data of the Export Institute, exports of processed food and beverages in the first half of the year recorded a 5% increase compared to the first half of 2014 and stood at $ 135 million.
Fresh fruit and vegetable exports during the same period increased by 13.6%, reaching $ 33 million.
According to the Israel Export Institute, 30% of the country's total food and drink exports in the first half of the year were shipped to North America.
