The Mexican market will provide a number of business opportunities for the Peruvian agricultural, agroindustrial and fishing sectors this year, as reported by the Commercial Office of Peru (OCEX) in Mexico.
In this sense, the OCEX explained that the products that can enter Mexico in preferential conditions are fresh garlic, fresh asparagus, fresh mangoes, fresh mandarins, fresh table grapes, capsicum (bell pepper) and canned asparagus, among others.
In order to boost Peruvian exports of the aforementioned items, the entity under the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) said it will work together with Peruvian companies with the goal of finding more business opportunities in the Aztec nation.
It is worth noting that Mexican imports from Peru have grown at a rate of 12.02% compared to the period from 2010 to 2014, so this year the circumstances certainly appear to be very favourable for the country to further increase its shipments to Mexico.
