In response to a growing demand from both producers and retailers for customized display options, IFCO is introducing a variety of innovative merchandising solutions which allow the customization of standard reusable plastic containers (RPCs).
This approach enables IFCO customers to take advantage of the market standard packaging solution in combination with an individual look which can be changed whenever desired (such as for promotions or special seasonal looks).
"IFCO will show a number of these solutions at our stand at Fruit Logistica to seek feedback from our customers to help shape our offer to best meet our customers' needs," said Wolfgang Orgeldinger, Chief Executive Officer of IFCO.
The solutions include Fresh Frames, fully-customizable rattan or wood cases which surround the RPC on display, either on the shelf or stacked on the floor; Promo Plates (patent pending), fully-customizable thin plastic plates which easily clip onto the exterior of the RPC to completely and temporarily change the look of the RPC to the desired design (wood look, basket look, color graphics, etc.); Shelf Strips: strips of real wood which attach directly to display shelves; Graphic Clips: small, easy-to-use clips which attach directly to the RPC to hold promotional signs or price cards; X-wing Dividers: food safe plastic hinged divider which divides the interior of the RPC either in half or in quarters to allow multiple products to be displayed in a single RPC; and RPC Wraps: fully customizable, high graphic vinyl panels which are wrapped around a stack of RPCs for maximum graphics space and an eye-catching presentation.
