Experts from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Province are working on a survey on the Green Belt areas of the city of Cordoba that were affected by a storm on Monday.

According to an initial visit to the area on Tuesday morning, the area that was affected the most is nearly 12 kilometers long and 6 kilometers wide, and it's location starts from the Japan Avenue up to El Quebrachal.

Most affected by the storm were the leafy greens and vegetable productions (sweet potato and, to a lesser extent, potato crops -which had been recently planted), as well as a few soybeans and corn crops.

The area affected are farms with a few hectares, and the technicians from the agricultural portfolio will evaluate how much they were affected over the next two days. Once the assessment is finished, they will issue the holders of the lands a certificate of damage verification, so that they can submit it to the appropriate parties.
