In January this year, cross-border fruit trade in Guangxi Province achieved rapid growth of 55.9% compared with the same period of last year, or 7.35 billion Yuan despite the overall grim export situation.
In China - ASEAN Free Trade Area, the fruit category is one of the earliest among zero tariffs amongst export. Thanks to this initiative, Puzhai Border Trade Zone gradually developed into China's largest fruit trade market, and the transaction amounted to several hundred thousand tons per year.
