On-site inspections of the small onions from India by staff from the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau in Tianjin Xingang Bureau.
Recently, Tianjin Xingang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau conducted for the first time a field inspection on a batch of onions from India. These onions weighed a total of 29 tons. What makes this batch of onions different is that they are mini versions of the normal size onion. To be more specific, each onion is only 3-4 cm in diameter, or about one-fifth the volume of ordinary onions. It is understood that these small onions have no difference in terms of nutrition compared with the normal size onions, some even taste stronger.
