Mondelez Australia is now selling Oreo Thins in Australian supermarkets.

First introduced in the US and China in 2015, the biscuit is described as a thinner, crispier version of a traditional Oreo.

Oreo Thins will be available in three flavours – vanilla, tiramisu and lemon. Each biscuit is 7mm in diameter and come in 104g boxes which contain two separate packets with seven of the Oreo Thins in each packet.

Senior Marketing Manager Oreo at Mondelez Australia, Sara Black, said the decision to introduce Oreo Thins to Australia was made after the product’s initial success in both the US and China.

“We’re excited to introduce Oreo Thins to Australian cookie lovers. Oreo has grown 19.8% in the Australian market within the last year, so we believe our fans will love this new crisp and delicate texture of Oreo Thins,” said Black.

The launch of Oreo thins will be supported by TV, PR and digital advertising.

Oreo Thins are available now at supermarkets Australia wide with a recommended retail price of AUD$2.29.
