East Lake Farm carrot planting base in Binyang County has successfully completed its export procedures, and more than 1,800 tons of carrots were exported to Korea, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and other countries.
Guangxi carrots are very competitive in both domestic and foreign markets, and Binyang city is well known as "the town of carrots", whose carrots enjoy a good reputation for good quality and sufficient quantity. Currently, the East Lake farm has its own carrot base of 333 hectares, which radiates its surrounding farmers to grow carrots and vegetables of 1,667 hectares. This is by far the largest carrot production base and important vegetable production base in Guangxi province.
