People who have allergies to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled Amino Gold was distributed nationwide through distributors, stores, and websites. The affected product is packaged in purple bottles with a black cap.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the possible milk-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk. The investigation as to the cause of this is ongoing.
