According to Liaoning Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the exported fruits from Dalian region reached 10,300 tons from January to April this year, hitting a revenue of 8.121 million US dollars, which were a year on year increase of 2.2 times and 1.49 times respectively. Among all the exported fruits, the apples which are imported to high-end markets such as the United States, Australia and Canada increased significantly. The volume of these imported apples reached 34 batches or 975.5 tons, a year on year increase of 4.7 times, while their value reached 1.196 million US dollars, accounting for 60% of domestic export apple to the United States. Compared with the imported value of last year, this amount has increased 2.8 times.
