UK-based Premier Foods has acquired the remaining shares of Knighton Foods for a nominal sum, making it a wholly owned subsidiary.
The latest acquisition is for the remaining 51% stake in Knighton Foods, which markets instant dry powder food products to retailers, manufacturers, food service customers and brandowners.
Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (also known as Vinamilk) will acquire the full ownership of Driftwood Dairy in California, US, by purchasing the remaining 30% stake in the company for $3m.
In 2014, Vinamilk acquired a 70% stake in the company, which produces dairy products and fruit juices.
Ruchi Soya Industries has divested its entire stake in Ruchi Kagome Foods India, a joint venture company established in 2013 with Kagome.
The largest edible oil manufacturer in India, Ruchi Soya sold the stake in the tomato puree, sauces and ketchup business for Rs630m ($9.32m).
The company has also entered a termination and share purchase agreement with Kagome and other associated parties to end the joint venture.
Chilean dairy products processor Surlat will be bought by Spain's Kaiku Corporacion Alimentaria in a deal that is expected to be closed by August.
A subsidiary of Emmi, Kaiku Corporacion Alimentaria aims to boost its business in South America through the acquisition.
