CFDA notified the information of 10 batches of unqualified foods

On September 6th, CFDA issued the result of food sampling inspection recently and notified the information of 10 batches of unqualified foods including 1 batch of candy, 1 batch of potatoes & puffed food, 7 batches of fruits & products and 1 batch of tea & products.

Private mooncake were not additive free

Some media reported that 2 kinds of mooncake in 4 samples purchased online were inspected with sodium cyclamate recently. Most producers of private mooncake had no relevant hygienic license and business qualification, and food safety was relied on conscientiousness. Experts expressed concern about the matter and considered that consumers should not be addicted to “handmade and additive free”. In addition, some sellers purchased fillings in the market for handmade mooncake which was actually not “handmade”, and cannot achieve the goal of “additive free”. What's more, some so-called private mooncake were actually made in factory and sold to online store of WeChat.
