Fujian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau issued a notice on 8th September that its import of Taiwan produced fourfinger threadfin (Eleutheronema tetradactylum) continued to rise for 4 straight years, which accounted for more than 60% of the total import of the fish in mainland China.
Released statistics show that the Bureau had imported a total of 2, 181. 2 tonnes, 4, 261, 000 US Dollars worth of chilled Taiwan produced fourfinger threadfin from January to August this year, increasing by 38% and 34.7% respectively, and the increasing trend was highly to continue in the following days this year.
To help the fast customs clearance of imported Taiwan produced seafood and aquatic products , Fujian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau implemented a series of effective inspection and quarantine methods, forging a 24 hours exclusive golden passageway for Taiwan chilled fresh aquatic products, which had significantly propelled the fourfinger threadfin import in Quanzhou, Fujian province.
