About 103 sandwiches were sold at 7-Eleven stores in Washington between November 18, 2016 and November 20, 2016. Look for a “best buy” date of November 19, 2016 through November 21, 2016 on the package. The product is packaged in a plastic clam shell, net weight 8 ounces, with UPC number 0 52548 58888 5.
If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a refund. Then clean any areas where the sandwich was stored with a mild bleach solution to kill bacteria.
If you ate this product, watch yourself for the symptoms of Listeria monocytogenes food poisoning for the next 70 days. Those symptoms are like the flu and can include fever, stiff neck, headache, muscle aches, nausea, and diarrhea. Pregnant women must be especially careful because this illness can cause stillbirth and miscarriage. If you do get sick, see your doctor.
