General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture issued a notice about practically strengthening the quality and safety management work of egg and poultry breeding

In order to prevent the pollution of toxic and harmful substances in poultry and egg products, and effectively strengthen the aquaculture inputs and environmental management, the General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture issued a notice calling for strengthening the production and trade management of feed production, strengthening the management of veterinary drug use and strengthening the environmental management of egg and poultry farms.

Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China abolished 8 light industry standards as “Food additives Pectin”, etc.

According to the work requirements of integration and simplification of mandatory standards and centralized review of recommended standards, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China organized relevant industry associations and standardization technology organization to conduct review and evaluation on 1 mandatory industry standard of “Food additives Pectin” (QB 2484-2000) and 7 recommended industry standards as “Filter aid for food industry Kieselguhr” (QB/T 2088-1995), and proposed to abolish them, the deadline for publicity is September 30, 2017.

The Ministry of Commerce issued a notice about proposing to abolish 1 mandatory domestic trade industry standards and transferring the 2 mandatory domestic trade industry standards into recommended industry standards

According to the requirements of “Notice about printing and distributing the simplification and integration conclusions of mandatory standards” (No.4, 2017 of Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China) of General Office of the Joint Conference of the Standardization Coordination and Promotion Department, the Ministry of Commerce has decided to abolish the recommend industry standards as “Ham sausage (high temperature cooking sausage)” from March 1, 2018, adjusted 2 mandatory industry standards as “Acid hydrolyzed vegetable protein seasoning”, etc., to recommend industry standards, since the date of publication, these two standards are no longer mandatory, the standard code is changed from SB to SB/T, the standard number and year number is unchanged. The enterprises can gradually revise and adjust the original standard number used by label and marking of the relevant product and the standard filing (publicity of self-declaration open). The transition period is 1 year since the date of the announcement. During the transition period, if a new standard is issued, the date of implementation of the new release standard shall prevail.
