On March 28th, 2018, National Health Commission issued a notice about soliciting public project proposal for national food safety standard in 2018. Based on “Food safety law”, National Health Commission solicited public project proposal for national food safety standard, and the following standards should be formulated or revised: Method for determination of various pollutants and nutrition indicators in food; maximum residues limit of pesticide and veterinary drug residues in food and relevant test methods; maximum residues limit of pollutants in food; nutritional requirements of main and auxiliary foods for special group and nutrition practices; hygienic requirements for food production and business; maximum residues limit of pollutants in food related products and relevant test methods; requirements of labeling, mark and instruction book regarding food safety of food related products. Opinions should be submitted before May 28th, 2018.
