According to the Warsaw Wholesale Market, Poland is one of the main buyers of Moldovan grapes. A large part of the volume imported goes through the Wholesale Market in Bronisze. The supply includes several interesting table varieties, such as the Moldovan Cardinal, the Moldovan Kiszmisz or the Moldova.
Moldovan grapes are characterised by their good taste. They are sweet and juicy. The Polish pay between 4 and 6 zloty per kilo (between 0.94 and 1.40 Euro). The grapes are packed in wooden boxes weighing 9 kilos.
Meanwhile, white grapes from Greece cost 3.55 zloty per kilo (0.83 Euro), Italian ones reach between 4 and 8 zloty (between 0.94 and 1.87 Euro) and raisins (white and pink) oscillate between 6 and 10 zloty per kilo (1.41 to 2.34 Euro).
