Gold Coast Packing, Santa Maria, Calif., introduced Sunny Superfood Salad, a combination of kale, Napa cabbage, green cabbage, watermelon radish, broccoli stem, carrots and cilantro.

“This blend is another example of the innovative work at Gold Coast Packing. We truly believe that if you dream it we can make it,” says Bill Munger, vice president of sales and marketing.

The Sunny Superfood Salad can be paired with any protein to make it a complete meal, and can be served hot or cold.

“What makes this product unique is that it has so much color; it’s rare to see watermelon radish in a blend like this. Plus, it has great texture and it’s loaded with superfoods. The kale and cabbages offer so many health benefits and can go with a variety of flavor profiles, the carrots and broccoli stem add the crunch, the beautiful burst of fuchsia color comes from the watermelon radish and cilantro throws in that punch of flavor. You really cannot go wrong with this blend,” adds Crystal Chavez, marketing coordinator.

The Sunny Superfood Salad is available in a 4x2.5-pound foodservice pack.
