China & Belgium launch new cargo train route

On October 24, 2018, He Jinping, vice-governor of China's Henan province, and Pierre-Yves Jeholet, the Belgian vice president of Wallonia, attended a launching ceremony of the first Zhengzhou-Liege cargo train in the city of Liege in Belgium. This meant the launch of a new cargo train route, linking the Liege (some 100 km southeast of Brussels) to Zhengzhou, the capital city of China's Henan province (some 8,250 km east-southeast of Brussels).
