On Wednesday, November 7, the National Federation of Japanese Agricultural Cooperatives (ZEN-NOH), formed by the most advanced agricultural cooperatives in the country, will visit Murcia to learn first-hand about the important developments of the fresh cut industry in Spain, which have mostly been driven by the company Florette.

25 big Japanese agricultural producers and managers will thus spend an interesting day with the workers of Torre-Pacheco, where they will visit the fields of Florette's protected crops in Valderas. There they will learn about sustainable cultivation practices and about lettuce sprouts of varieties such as arugula, kale, tatsoi or red leaf. They will then move on to the production center to witness the processing of salad bags.

The visitors will be aided by an interpreter and will be guided by Enrique López, production technician of Florette Agrícola, and Paulo Aleixo, head of production at Florette Murcia.
