The results showed that beef from Argetina’ s company “AZUL NATURAL BEEF SA”(N5039) contains Listeria monocytogenes, Russian Quarantine Bureau of the company to implement the ban punishment, the ban has come into effect since January 8, 2019.
Coincidentally, SEARA ALIMENTOS (N3595) ,from Brazil, in its poultry production this company has also been detected in Listeria bacteria. The company also received the ban from the Russian authorities and has come into effect since January 12, 2019.
The two companies are one of the largest suppliers of Russian Federation beef and poultry.
