Specific description of the products investigated: Potato starch is a kind of white powder made of polyglucose molecule processed from potatoes. Its physical and chemical indexes are as follows: whiteness (457 nm blue light reflectivity) > 90%, moisture < 20%, viscosity (4% concentration, 700 cmg) > 1100 BU, protein (dry matter content) > 0.15%.
Main Applications: Potato starch is mainly used in the food industry in China. It is an important raw material for the production of emulsifiers, thickeners, stabilizers, expanders, excipients, etc. It is widely used in puffed food, instant food, sausage, ham sausage and other meat products, frozen food, sauce, mud, soup food, beverage, sauce, cooking, sugar making, aquatic products processing and other industries.
