Crisp vegetables, fresh fruit and aromatic herbs, that is the tasty basis of the family recipe called Allgro.

Allgro, a family-run business, has been combining the wholesale of fruit, vegetables and potatoes with fruit and vegetable cutting since 1990. Thanks to the continuous range of new and innovative products, the company creatively moves along with the latest trends in the food service and retail market.

The plant in Sint-Lievens-Houtem processes more than 25 tons of fruit and vegetables each day. This is supplied to more than 600 dedicated customers in Belgium, France and Luxembourg. The fact that demand for pre-cut fruit and vegetables is growing fast is demonstrated by the need for new packing lines.

After the delivery of two Tramper S-335 lines in 2014, the company opted for two Tramper tray sealing lines again (Type S-340*).
“We have excellent experiences with the first tray sealers, that’s why we went back to Tramper when we wanted to invest in new packing lines,” Paul de Meyer, director, explains.

“Because the machines are extremely flexible in converting between various tray sizes, it allows us to readily and quickly switch between the various products we pack. Also, the ease of use and reliability of the machine are big advantages to us!”
