BrewDog, the self-styled Scottish ‘punk’ brewer, is growing its presence in the flexitarian food market with the launch of the ‘Hybrid Burger’.

The burger is marketed towards the growing flexitarian market and meat eaters alike offering an “environmentally friendly alternative to the traditional burger with zero compromise on flavour”.

The burger, launching at BrewDog’s bars, is made from half meat and half plant-based protein. It comes sandwich between matcha tea buns and is topped with vegan cheese.

The burger joins other vegan and vegetarian options at the brewer’s bars including buffalo cauliflower wings and the ‘Heil Seitan’ burger.
