Danish brewing giant, the Carlsberg Group, has recently signed an angreement that sees it take charge of the remaining 25% of Cambrew in Cambodia.
Cambrew is among the largest brewers in Cambodia, and its largest beer brand – Angkor Premium Beer – is a popular brand among Cambodian consumers.
Cambrew also produces and bottles Pepsi for the Cambodian market.
“The agreement is in line with our strategic priority of growing our business in Asia and in a beer market that offers appealing long-term growth opportunities,” said Cees ’t Hart, CEO of Carlsberg.
