Nestlé is adding a new variety to its Aero line-up with the launch of a caramel flavoured bar.
The bar was developed and is being manufactured at the company’s York factory. It is made from cocoa responsibly sourced under the Nestlé Cocoa Plan.
“The science and technology behind Aero made it unique from the start – but we continually look for new ways to innovate and delight fans,” said Amy Kendall, Assistant Brand Manager for Aero.
“We believe that Aero Caramel is a delicious new addition to the Aero family, and we hope it will soon become another firm favourite.”
The Aero brand has witnessed a number of product developments since it was first introduced as a peppermint-flavoured chocolate bar back in 1935.
The milk chocolate format followed in the seventies and, in 2005, Nestlé introduced Aero Bubbles. Last year, a new premium version dubbed Aero Bliss was added to the line-up.
The new Aero Caramel launches in Asda, Co-op, Tesco and Morrison’s stores across the UK later this month.
