Lemon stands out among 41 food options analyzed, showing that it can satisfy 100% of nutritional needs in just 100 calories. Rich in vitamin C, it enhances the effects of the immune system, in addition to bringing contributions to the skin, heart and intestines.
In the study conducted by university scientist William Paterson, vitamins, fibers and nutrients of each food were observed in relation to calories: the higher the nutrient content, the healthier it is.
