According to the company, the new flavor combinations, which are inspired by customer feedback, help moms include more fruits and veggies into their kids' diets through the use of familiar flavors like apple and banana.
The snacks are sold in BPA-free, resealable pouches so babies, toddlers and young children can consume the snacks without the need for a spoon.
The new flavors include - Peach and Apple; Banana and Apple; Pear and Apple; Pear and Pea; Parrot Carrot, and Apple. These will join the existing flavors which include - Apple and Grape; Mango, Banana and Orange; Strawberry and Banana; Pea, Spinach and Apple; Sweet Potato, Corn and Apple; and Carrot, Squash and Apple.
The snacks are high in vitamin C, range between 60 and 90 calories, and contain no added sugar, preservatives or artificial ingredients, the company said.
The new flavors, available at Amazon.com, Target.com and Diapers.com, will be rolling out this spring at current Peter Rabbit Organics distributors Babies R Us, Albertsons, Starbucks, Publix, Whole Foods Markets and REI.
