Havmor launches sorbets, ice creams in India

Core Tip: Indian ice cream firm Havmor is launching several new products including sorbet, cookie ice cream sandwich, and candy bar, in India.
It is launching three new sorbet flavors under Cool-Ups brand. The new flavors include lemon, strawberry and pina orange.

The company is also launching Ras' Mataz - a concept ice cream in an inverted cone shape; Kesar Chowpatty Kulfi; Mango Cone and Block Buster - a 120ml candy bar available in four flavors - Cookie Cream, Classic Vanilla, Mango Magic and Almond Mocha.

Havmor, based in Gujarat, also announced that it will offer three new flavors every three months. This quarter's flavours are Dry Fruit Ribbon, Fresh Mango and Peach Passion, reported Fnbnews.com.

Recently, the company increased the capacity of its manufacturing facility to 200,000 liters per day. It is also expanding its presence to the neighboring states.

Havmor plans to reach a turnover of INR3bn ($53.60m) by 2013.
