Core Tip: CDC Software, an enterprise software provider of on-premise and cloud technologies, has announced that Ramona's Mexican Food Products, a manufacturer of specialty Mexican foods, plans to implement its product.

Through the software implementation, Ramona's also seeks to improve efficiency, reduce costs, facilitate compliance and mitigate risk.

Ross Enterprise for Food and Beverage is CDC Software's comprehensive suite of applications for bakery, dairy, protein, flavors, dressings and other recipe based food and beverage manufacturers.

According to CDC Software, Ross specifically addresses key challenges in the Food industry such as yield management, quality control, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end traceability.

Ramona's COO Bob Trelford said that Ross Enterprise will enable Ramona's to grow its big box business and move into overseas markets

In addition, Ross's TraceExpress module will help facilitate regulatory compliance, while lowering risk and exposure, Trelford added.

Ramona's offers a prepackaged line of frozen items that includes burritos, chile rellenos, tamales and enchiladas, as well as a full menu of choices served fresh at their Southern California retail kitchen locations.
